After planting in the aquarium, the plant will grow new roots within a few days. This large Amazon sword plant is possibly the most popular aquatic plant. Its leaves are 3-6 cm wide, making them broader than the 'amazonicus', and with growth up to 60 cm it is certainly the more dominant in appearance. Older bushes, sometimes with more than 50 leaves, are an impressive sight. The substrate must be at least 10 cm deep so that the root system can spread properly. Combine with various Helanthium species (dwarf Echinodorus) to create outstanding South American underwater landscapes.

How we post plants
24h dispatch (usually the same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm). We are experienced in packing plants to avoid any damage during transport and to reduce the cost of postage. Plant will be packed in a plastic bag inside carton box (usually large letter) posted 24h Royal Mail. We spend more time on packing plants which ensures that you receive the plants in a very good condition, not damaged by the pot or not mixed with gel (in-vitro).  Therefore, the plants are sent without pots, cups.
