The 66 Inch Collapsible Snake Tong can be used for reptile, snake, and other animal handling and feeding. Great for use while feeding and great to protect from bites and scratches! This collapsible snake tong breaks down into two halves (33″) for easy transport.
The large mouth design allows you to catch snakes easily, regardless of species, size, or length. The stainless steel teeth help you fix snake stably without hurting the animal. This clamp is an indispensable tool for snake keepers and breeders.
Great for handling venomous reptiles, the 66 Inch Collapsible Snake Tong will keep the animal out of striking distance.
To assemble the snake tongs, simply slide the two pieces together and press down on the detent/button on the handle portion. This will slide in and lock into the hole on the tong side. Unscrew the handle/trigger pivot, slide the handle in so the holes line up and reinsert the screw. Hand tighten the screw and you are all set! To disassemble, simply reverse the process. *The handle/trigger should be taken off first during disassembly.
Made with 100% aluminum, these tongs are lightweight but still strong enough to work with larger animals. Great to take with you on your hike and/or field herping!
